Dair sewerage network project completed

Sanitary Engineering Assistant Undersecretary of the Ministry of Works, Municipalities Affairs and Urban Planning Asma Murad said the ministry has completed Dair Sewerage Network Project, Block 231, which serves 47 houses and real estates.
The Project is part of the development projects that Muharraq Governorate is witnessing, which complements the Government’s efforts to improve infrastructure and accommodate citizens’ and residents’ needs.
The project comprises extending 750m long main lines, 930m long sub-lines, constructing one lifting station and 72 inspection chambers for both the main and sub-connections. The BD221,985 project was earlier awarded to Kingdom’s Asphalt.
Dair sewerage network is to be connected to the main plant in Muharraq; namely Muharraq Sewage Treatment Plant. The plant was inaugurated in 2014 and constructed in partnership with the private sector.
