Rabat - MENA

Egypt's Minister of Higher Education Wael el-Degwi along with Moroccan Minister Delegate to the Minister of Higher Education, Scientific Research and Executives Training Soumia Benkhaldoun inaugurated Monday the fifth meeting of the Moroccan-Egyptian technical committee for scientific research cooperation in Meknes city, northern Morocco. Degwi said that the meeting is a good opportunity to evaluate and study a range of new research projects. The meeting, which was devoted to assessing the first program of scientific and technological cooperation protocol of 2005-2009, would also review 48 new projects about biotechnology and its application in the field of agriculture. For her part, Benkhaldoun said that the meeting was of great importance as it reflects the two countries' desire to boost bilateral relations especially in the scientific field.
