Serbian students mark Chinese Spring Festival

Serbian students staged a show Thursday to mark the Chinese Lunar New Year, or Spring Festival, which falls on Sunday. Wearing traditional Chinese costumes, Belgrade University students and local pupils gave a brilliant 90-minute performance on the university campus. Among the audience were Serbian Parliament Speaker Nebojsa Stefanovic and Chinese Ambassador Zhang Wanxue. Zhang underscored the importance of people-to-people exchanges in strengthening bilateral cooperation. "Sound relations between China and Serbia depend not only on leaders but also on people from all walks of life," Zhang said.
