A total of 80,000 new trainees have registered so far for the new academic year 2013-2014, scheduled for September 22nd, said Monday in Algiers Minister of Vocational Training and Education Mohamed Mebarki. “A total of, 80,000 new trainees have registered so far, for the new academic year 2013-2014, scheduled for September 22nd ,” Mebarki told El-Moudjahid newspaper, adding that the registration period is “still open.” Concerning the training offers, the minister said that there are 391,000 new seats for all the specialities, including 245,000 new seats in certificate courses and 128,000 seats in short-term qualifying courses. “The total number of training seats (residential, by learning and distance training) reaches more than 600,000 training seats,” the minister added.
