Rabat - Rachid Bougha

The Macau Pasteur foundation, which specialises in the production of chocolates and Moroccan pastry, announced Wednesday the winners of the national competition for confectionery and chocolate pupils in Morocco. This came months after a selection process in different parts of the Kingdom, where organisers of the national contest traveled thousands of kilometres to grant the largest number of students the opportunity to compete on the first rank. A press statement stated, that after four months of competition, 12 candidates were selected to represent different governorates of the Kingdom. Intelligent students got advanced ranks such as Moulay Ibrahim Ghazi from Casablanca, Mohamed Lmrray from Ben slimane and Fatima Zahraa Seriwa from Fez. The same source added that qualified candidates have joined the "Alema" institution in Casablanca, which has in the past hosted the final round of the competition. Each competitor was examined by a judging committee, composed of professionals specialising in the manufacture of sweets and chocolate, as well as professors and directors of relevant institutions. The students presented their innovations with great creativity and skills. During the various stages of the competition, the young candidates created a set of innovations in the manufacture of sweets and chocolate, demonstrating their skills.
