Manama - BAN

The Bahraini Ministry of Foreign Affairs has constantly been following up the case of the Bahraini student Ahmed Al-Nashaba who was abducted in Malaysia last Tuesday. A Bahraini diplomatic delegation was dispatched to follow up the case with the relevant Malaysian authorities and maximum efforts continue to be exerted to ensure the abductee's promptest release. The Bahraini delegation continues the pursuit with senior Malaysian Interior Ministry officials in order to reach his abductors so as to ensure his safe release. Malaysian senior officials informed the Bahraini diplomatic delegation that the situation was extremely sensitive and that no information could be stated which might affect the security process. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs, emanating from keenness on the security and safety of Bahraini students in Malaysia, met the students and the University management to verify their current state of affairs and to ensure their safety and comfort.
