Education Minister Qatar's returns home

HE Saad Bin Ibrahim Al Mahmoud, Minister of Education and Higher Education and Secretary General of the Supreme Education Council, returned to Doha this evening from Riyadh, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. In Riyadh, he participated in the work of the Extraordinary Meeting of Ministers of Higher Education and Scientific Research held in cooperation with Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO), the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) and the Ministry of Higher Education in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The meeting was held to review the responses to a document by OIC for the ranking of universities of the Member States. The final document was adopted as the basis for the decision related to the draft for ''key performance indicators in universities in the Islamic world''.
