Diab: receives Armenian ambassador in Lebanon

Education and Higher Learning Minister Hassan Diab met at his office in the ministry with Armenian Ambassador to Lebanon Ashot Kocharian. Discussions reportedly tackled the bilateral relation on the educational level as well as the possibility of exchanging students' expertise and university scholarships. Father Louis Samaha, head of Caritas Institution in Lebanon, visited the minister at his office and tackled with him the ongoing cooperation between the ministry and said institution in the field of education. Later on, the Minister met with Lebanese Ambassador to USA Antoine Chedid and discussed with him bilateral relation on the educational level. It is to note that Diab presided over an educational meeting, in presence of Educational Ministry general director Fady Yarak. The meeting pertained to the project studying the influence of the mother tongue upon the wide spread of common mistakes committed during learning foreign languages, knowing that this project is being financed by the Francophone International Organization.
