Arab Today, arab today Al-Hajraf: Kuwait education ministry keen on addressing traffic congestions

Kuwait - KUNA
Minister of Education Dr. Nayef Al-Hajraf said Tuesday the ministry was open to any proposal that would address traffic congestions or any other problem but after they were fully analyzed and studied. Speaking to reporters while visiting schools in Mubarak Al-Kabeer educational area to mark beginning of new year, Al-Hajraf, also Minister of Higher Education, said the ministry used buses to take children to and from schools in Rumaithiya Area. He said the ministry would submit proposals to the interior ministry at the start of the next semester in yet another bid to address traffic congestions. He, meanwhile, commended teachers and schools' administrations in Mubarak Al-Kabeer educational area. Al-Hajraf said the ministries of education, electricity and water were launching a campaign in schools aimed at rationalizing use of electricity and water. The ministry of education is continuing its "Read" campaign for the second year running with the objective of preserving the Arab language which the minister described as "rich and capable." The ministry, he added, was keen on providing good nutrition for all students.
