Minya - MENA

Five pro-terrorist Muslim Brotherhood (MB) group students at Minya University were remanded in custody for 15 days pending investigation in charges of attacking police personnel. The charges include staging protests without necessary security permission, setting fire to a police vehicle, blocking the agriculture Cairo-Aswan road, instigating violence against police and army troops. The students staged illegal rally in a protest against return of the security forces on campus, and refusing that presidential hopeful Abdel-Fattah el-Sisi's run in the upcoming election. In December, Egypt's government declared the MB a "terrorist organization", blaming it for a string of attacks in the country
