UN envoy to Libya urges authorities to investigate whereabouts of Libyan journalist
Tripoli - MENA

Special Representative of the UN Secretary-General and Head of the United Nations Support Mission in Libya Martin Kobler said he was saddened by the news about loosing contacts with Libyan channel journalists Selim Shibl.

In his twitter account, Kobler urged Tripoli's security authorities to investigate his whereabout and work on his immediate release and unharmed.

British Ambassador in Libya Peter Joseph Millett also voiced regret over news of disappearance of Shibl while he was covering protests at Al Shohadaa Square in Tripoli.
