Erdogan, Saudi crown prince discuss Khashoggi case

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman discussed over the phone "joint efforts" to shed light on the killing of dissident Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi, according to Turkish state news agency Anadolu.
Anadolu cited Turkish presidency sources as saying that Erdogan and the Crown Prince discussed "necessary steps" to bring to light "all aspects" of Khashoggi's murder.
The phone call marks the first contact between the Turkish and Saudi leaders since Khashoggi, a vocal critic of the crown prince, disappeared after a visit to the Saudi consulate in Istanbul on October 2.
Erdogan on Wednesday pledged to press on with a Turkish probe in order to bring to justice "all those responsible, from those who ordered [Khashoggi's murder] to those who carried it out."
