The UAE will host on Sunday the 19th meeting of the Gulf Cooperation Council for Arab States' Ministers of Information at Emirates Palace. The meeting will be chaired by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Public Works and Chairman of National Media Council. Undersecretaries of the Information Ministries will hold a preparatory meeting on Saturday at Emirates Palace. They will discuss a number of issues pertaining to GCC media coordination to tackle the latest regional and international developments. The GCC ministers will stress the importance of GCC media strategy. They will also activate the GCC days sessions in Europe, and will assess possibility of holding such sessions in other capitals to introduce the GCC progress to them.
