The 5th meeting of Islamic Radio & Television Union opens in Tehran

The 5th meeting of the general assembly of the Islamic Radio and Television Union opened in Tehran on Monday. Several topics including the internal issues of this union will be discussed during the event due to work until September 28. Addressing the meeting, the secretary general of the union, Ali Karimian, said that members of this union have reached 200 from 32 countries, adding it has turned into one of the major global media entities. “Professional cooperation and coordination of the union’s members in covering global developments, especially the people’s demands in Islamic awakening movement are considered as the main achievements this union,” he said.
