SPA president arrives in Kuwait

Sheikh Mubarak Al-Daij Al-Ibrahim Al-Sabah, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Director General of Kuwait News Agency 'KUNA', has congratulated the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the 84th anniversary of the national day of the kingdom.
This came in his statement during reception of Abdullah bin Fahd Al-Hussain, President of Saudi Press Agency (SPA), who arrived here today to take part in the 18th GCC News Agencies Meeting to be held in Kuwait.
For his part, the SPA president hoped all success for the 18th news agencies meeting, stressing that the meeting's agenda includes a number of topics aiming to upgrade the media work in the GCC news agencies in light of rapid regional events as well as economic and social projects in GCC states.
Al-Hussain also stressed keenness to keep up with the events and modern technologies.
