Over 800 media and journalistic delegations came to Doha to cover the events of the Arab summit, due to open Tuesday. Doha hotels have been occupied to the full due to the flow of media people and reporters to the Qatari capital. Qatar is geared up for the event and strict security measures have been adopted in Doha's Sheraton Hotel, the summit's venue. A press center was prepared at Sheraton for journalists to be able to carry out their job efficiently. Qatari audio, visual and read media means give due attention to the event. Qatari daily papers issued special attachments for the summit news. The summit will focus of the Syrian file and the Palestinian problem. During the event, Iraq will hand over the summit chairmanship to Qatar. Qatari Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani and Secretary General of the Arab League Nabil el-Arabi will deliver speeches during the opening session.
