MENA, PETRA discuss cooperation

MENA Board Chairman and Editor In Chief Alaa Haidar met on Wednesday with Jordanian Minister of Information and Communications Mohammad Al Momani at MENA premises in Cairo.
The two sides discussed means of bolstering cooperation between MENA and Jordanian news agency PETRA, especially exchange of news items, training, the video service and sms' for the Egyptian community in Jordan whose number hit 600,000.
The Jordanian minister's visit to MENA comes on the fringe of his participation in the meetings of the Arab information ministers council that will kick off at the Arab League premises later in the day.
