The Kuwaiti media delegation covering the 22nd Gulf Cup tournament is among the largest teams of journalists following up on the sports event.
Yusuf Mustafa, the Ministry of Information assistant undersecretary, told KUNA that the ministry sent in two specially-equipped vehicles for live transmission and set up makeshift studios for full coverage of the games.
Kuwait Television airs an hour-long program daily shedding light on events on the fields, he said, indicating that the broad team includes technicians, commentators, analysts, in addition to the huge equipment.
He praised support on part of the Minister of Information, Minister of State for Youth Affairs Sheikh Salman Sabah Al-Salem Al-Humoud Al-Sabah for the athletes and sports activities.
