Journalists Association thanks Mohammed bin Rashid for supporting Solidarity Fund

The Board of Directors of the Journalists Association have thanked Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, for his support of the activities of the Association, and his donation to the Social Fund of AED 5 million. The Board of Directors said in a statement issued today on behalf of all journalists in the UAE, "His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum is a model example of a leader who considers press and journalists as the pillars of modern society, pointing out that he supports the media in general and journalism in particular, in order to achieve integration between all sectors in the country and affirm the importance of the role played by civil society organisations, especially professional ones. The Board of Directors of the Social Fund thanked Sheikh Mohammed for his generous gesture to repay loans arising of the members of the Fund.
