GCC media executive committee meets

The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Media Executive Committee held here today its first meeting at the GCC general secretariat headquarters in Riyadh. The Committee will discuss during the meeting the GCC member states' visions about the operational mechanisms of the GCC media strategy and means of translating it into practical programs. The meeting comes on the decision taken during the19th meeting of the Information Ministers of the GCC states held in Abu Dhabi in October 2011.
