Culture minister: Cooperation of Islamic world mass media

Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Mohammad Hosseini here on Monday underlined the importance of cooperation among mass media of the World of Islam.Pointing to the current global developments and the Islamic awakening movement in regional states, Hosseini said the enemies of Islam are trying to damage the world Muslims through creating Islamophobia issues. Talking to IRNA, the culture minister called for establishment of cooperation and coordination among media of all Islamic states. He reiterated that such moves would benefit both Islam and Muslims in the region and throughout the globe. Hosseini stressed that the Islamic Republic of Iran has turned to a role model for the regional nations where Islamic awakening movements are underway. He noted that Muslims should always be sensitive toward global issues and defend rights of oppressed nations.
