Chairman of the Journalists Union: Media is a human massage

Chairman of the Journalists Union, Elias Murad Stressed the objective role of media in conveying reality regarding the ongoing events in Syria in facing the unilateral media based on incitement and fabricating facts. In a meeting with a Russian media delegation, Murad pointed out that media is a human message and not a means for inciting and killing, hailing the role of the Russian journalists in relaying the reality of the conspiracy against Syria which aims to destabilize its security. He added that journalists in Syria are exposed to attacks, assassination attempts and kidnapping by the armed terrorist groups for their role in revealing terrorists' crimes. For their part, members of the Russian delegation stressed the importance of supporting the employees in media sector and training them to use the advanced communication sets, hailing the role of the Syrian media in documenting the events and conveying realty to the world.
