Bahraini Informatics Organisation holds workshop on Open Data

Central Informatics Organisation (CIO), in cooperation with e-Government Authority, tomorrow will hold a workshop on (Open Data).
Richard Kirby from the UN Department of Economic and Social Affairs will give the lecture in the presence of a number of government officials concerned with data and information.
CIO President, Dr. Mohammad Al-Amir, highlighted the importance and the need for the accurate piece of information and the global tendency towards collecting official data and information from various sources before making the same available before decision and policy makers.
CIO Advisor for Planning and Information said that the workshop aims to educate government employees on means of uplifting data and information for the implementation of Bahrain's development policies.
