Arab information ministers convene under UAE
Arab information ministers' meeting
Cairo - MENA
The Arab Information Ministers Council convened here Thursday under the UAE's chairmanship to review developing Arab media strategy, especially with regard to combating terror, disseminating upright teaching of Islam and backing the Palestinian cause.
The meeting will also reconsider a study on establishing an AL radio and TV on the internet as well as means of taking drastic measures against channels inciting violence and sedition
Arab League Assistant Secretary General Ahmed ben Helli attended the meeting along with the head of the AL media department, Haifa Abu Ghazala.
