Anadolu Agency is Turkey's window opening to world

Turkish Parliament Speaker Cemil Cicek on Friday said that the Anadolu Agency (AA) was Turkey's window opening to the world. Cicek's remarks came as he was visiting Ukraine on Friday. Speaking to the AA correspondent on the occasion of the 93rd anniversary of AA's foundation, Cemil Cicek stressed that "AA was the most healthiest source of news on reflecting the incidents taking place in Turkey to the outside world and in informing the people in all corners of the world on Turkey". On the other hand, Turkey's EU Minister and Chief Negotiator Egemen Bagis on Friday told the AA that Anadolu Agency was one of the most important partners of Turkey in its EU process. We consider AA correspondents and team members to be a natural member of our negotiating team, Bagis underlined. AA is now a global brand and value, Bagis also said. Turkish Minister of Science, Industry and Technology Nihat Ergun said that AA was present where no one else was. Anadolu Agency has a crucial mission in recording the incidents taking place within and out of Turkey, Ergun stressed.
