Fneish, Khamidi tackle sports cooperation prospects

Youth and Sports Minister Mohammed Fneish met on Wednesday at his ministerial office with Indonesian Ambassador to Lebanon, Ahmed Khazen Khamidi, who congratulated him on his assumption of ministerial portfolio.
Talks also dwelt on the continual cooperation between Lebanon and Indonesia in the youth and sports sector and the signature of a memorandum of understanding.
Ambassador Khamidi pointed out that the Asian Cup round will be taking place in Indonesia in August 2018, and Lebanon will be invited to participate in the event.
On the other hand, Fneish met with a delegation from the "Arab Union for Physical Culture" who briefed the Minister on the Union's activities and its 2017 programs, in addition to preparations for the 2017 "Physical Culture" conference, to be taking place upcoming July at the UNESCO Palace.
