Member of Al Ahly Club Board Emad Waheed, stressed that the board of directors will insist on the item of the eight years in its internal regulations immediately after the issuance of sports law. 

The committees of youth and sports in Parliament have agreed on a sports draft law, after taking the final vote on it, in preparation for submitting it to Parliament in the plenary session.

Waheed expressed, in an exclusive interview with Arabs Today, his deep sadness after one of the lawyers made a new lawsuit against Al Ahly's board of directors, asking "Who are you."

"Al Ahly's board of directors has nothing to do with the election procedures and has nothing to do topple me, and I has come on the desire of the general assembly," he added.

He defended the board of directors, headed by Mahmoud Taher, stressing that despite the difficult circumstances experienced by the country, but that the Board has succeeded in increasing the resources for the duration of his presence.

 Waheed pointed out that the surplus in Al Ahly budget exceeding EGP100 million, and they will build a new branch for the club in El Tagamo El Khames city.

"I am proud that we always strive to make Al Ahly fits its name and history, hoping from Al Ahly's board to make early elections, after approaching from the issuance of the new sports law, Waheed stated.
