VP briefed on Process of Voluntary Firearms Collection

The Vice- President of the Republic, Hassabo Mohammed Abdul Rahman was briefed on the progress of the Firearms Collection Camping at the voluntary stage in all the localities of South Darfur state prior to starting the coercive stage .
The Wali (governor) of the State, Engineer, Adam Al-Fakki said, Wednesday, in press statements that the firearms collection process is progressing well and according to the targeted plan, referring to the positive results of the campaign .
Al-Fakki affirmed his government's keenness to complete the campaign to make the state free of all kinds of firearms, indicating that the process of collection of the unlicensed vehicles is progressing well .
