His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, received Darren Woods, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of ExxonMobil, to discuss a range of oil, gas and energy issues.

During the meeting, which took place at Al Shati Palace on Sunday, Sheikh Mohamed and Woods recognised the need for the energy industry to keep abreast of the latest technological developments and international requirements.

They also explored the prospects of joint co-operation and co-ordination, as well as exchange of technical expertise between the US company and UAE national energy companies.

H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Ruler's Representative in Al Dhafra Region;Dr. Sultan bin Ahmad Sultan Al Jaber, Minister of State and CEO of the ADNOC Group;Khaldoon Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Affairs Authority (EAA); and Mohamed Mubarak Al Mazrouei is the Undersecretary of the Crown Prince Court of Abu Dhabi, attended the meeting.
