Saif bin Zayed receives new Dubai Police Chief

H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior, renewed his congratulation to the new Commander-in-Chief of Dubai,Major General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, for being appointed to the post by Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, during a meeting on Monday.
Maj Gen Al Marri has been promoted from brigadier to major general. He succeeded Lt. General Khamis Mattar Al Muzeina, who died of a heart attack on November last year.
Al Marri pledged to live up to what he described as a big responsibility and the trust placed in him by the leadership.
A number of senior officers attended the meeting.
