Dubai - Arab Today

Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum received a number of Transport ministers who are participating at the Middle East Rail Exhibition and Conference, held at Dubai World Trade Center (DWTC).

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed and ministers from Djibouti, Afghanistan, United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Egypt and Argentine discussed ways to develop the railways and transport sector and its vital role in the overall development.

He said the conference would contribute to exchanging ideas, plans and constructive proposals for the development of this sector, and encouraging cooperation among the states in a positive way to achieve this goal.

Sheikh Mohammed was accompanied by Secretary-General of the GCC for Arab States; Dr. Abdul Latif bin Rashid Al Zayani; Minister of Cabinet Affairs and The Future, Mohammed Abdullah Al Gergawi; Minister of Infrastructure Development, Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Belhaif Al Nuaimi; Director-General and Chairman of the Board of Executive Directors of the Roads and Transport Authority, Mattar Al Tayer, and Director of the Federal Authority For Land and Maritime, Dr. Abdulla Salem Al Katheeri.
