Tunisian security forces arrested extremist women's cell, includes three women and a university student, in Sfax city. The cell's elements were connecting with militant leaders in Al-Nousra Front in Syria.

The suspects accused of connecting with extremist leaders abroad and inciting girls to travel to Syria.

According to the investigations, an Islamic state and two Arab countries financed the cell's elements to incite girls to travel to Syria, Libya and Iraq.

The security authorities referred the defendants to the national unity to combat terrorism for investigations.
