Syrian governmental troops bombarded sites in Daraa’s countryside, with no information about humanitarian losses, as they used missiles to target Gamreen city in coincidence with the continuous clashes between the governmental troops loyal to Assad’s regime and Islamist movements Daraa’s Manshia district.

The clashed come in the framework of military operations in which Syria’s Democratic Forces attempt to achieve notable advance to isolate the militants controlling Raqqa city and its countryside to pave the way for isolating it.

In the same context, Turkish troops resumed their bombardment on the residential districts of Al Bab city leading to the killing of 24 persons, including 11 children and eight women. Sources revealed that the attack led to major damages in the citizens’ houses and possessions in addition to the city’s infrastructure.

On the other hand, the second round of Astana talks ended with no progress over the agreement to consolidate the cease fire agreement. Chairperson of Syrian opposition delegation Mohamed Aloush revealed that they received a pledge from the Russian government to suspend the Syrian governmental attacks against their strongholds and to ease the siege imposed on Eastern Ghouta.

He denied the formation of a committee to monitor the ceasefire agreement, stressing the need for Arab role in any such a committee to be formed for achieving this objective. He added that they agreed to form committees to visit the governmental prisons and to release 100 prisoners of them.

He added that the talks focused on the ways to consolidate the ceasefire, saying that the new Syrian constitution draft will be discussed during the coming rounds of talks.
