Public Administration of Education in the Saudi capital of Riyadh decided to suspend the issuance of any licenses of private or foreign schools if they did not meet the conditions related to the safety of students and workers in these schools.
Director General of the administration Abdullah Bin Mohamed Al Mane revealed that the decision came upon the orders issued by Saudi cabinet, saying that they work currently to monitor the violating schools to take the necessary measures against them.
Saudi Minister of Education Ahmed Al Eissa announced a program this month to increase the efficiency of educational buildings, as he decided to suspended the issuance of licenses to the schools with buildings designed for non-educational objectives. He expressed his aspiration that the new program will achieve its objectives as soon as possible.
