Tunis - Hayat Al Ghanemi

Assistant Director General of Tunisian General Labor Union Samy Al Taheri criticized the ministerial reshuffle witnessed in the country, saying that it came to violate Carthage Document.

He added, in a statement to “Arabs Today”, that Tunisian Prime Minister Yussef Al Shahed undermined the main principle of accordance among the Tunisian political parties upon which the document is based. He described the choice of public service minister as manipulation and violation to all norms.

He stressed that the new Minister of Public Service Khalil Al Gheriani does not believe in the importance of public sector, saying that the new minister came to the government to achieve the plan aiming to dissolve the public sector.

He stressed that it is not the first time for the Tunisian prime minister to violate Carthage Document, saying that he violated it before when he issued Finance Law months ago, saying that the law led to a state of controversy among the Tunisian people.
