Lieutenant General Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, Deputy Chairman of Dubai Police and Public Security and Chairman of HBMeU's Board of Governors, said, "The year-on-year increasing number of graduates at HBMeU manifests the implicit trust that we have gained from the academic community, being the university of choice in the Arab World for e-Learning and distance learning. The successive achievements urge us to continue to work hard to develop world-class academic programmes which offer high-quality vital disciplines to meet the fast emerging changes in the 21st century. The Board of Governors is committed to adopting leading quality initiatives on a par with our strategic aspirations to re-shape the future of education through creative means. This will raise the bar on e-Learning excellence by encouraging contemporary scientific research as well as academic and intellectual achievements while also disseminating modern knowledge among academic and social communities." HBMeU is the first e-learning institute in the Arab World and was established with the vision to develop a new learning process through the implementation of learning practices characterised by flexibility, quality and diversity to strengthen self-leadership among learners and prepare them socially and academically for a future career through integration in the job market.
