Top sports officials in the Kingdom of Bahrain commended the recent initiative of His Majesty King Hamad to honor Bahrain athletes with remarkable achievements between 2015 and 2017.

Shaikha Hayat bint Abdulaziz Al Khalifa, member of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, the Bahrain Olympic Committee, and chairwoman of the Bahrain Women’s Sports Committee, thanked the Kingdom’s leadership for this generous initiative.

She also thanked Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, personal representative of His Majesty for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and BOC president, for his directives to allocate cash prizes for the honorees on this occasion in appreciation to their contributions.
