Italian Private Shipping Company “MSC Cruises” will soon resume its port calls to Tunisia," said its Executive President Pierfrancesco Vago.

“We will be the first partner who will return to Tunisia on its tourist tours,” stressed the official who was speaking after a meeting held Thursday afternoon in the government Palace in Kasbah with Prime Minister Youssef Chahed.

He added that “Tunisa remains a key component of the world tourist map and we are now preparing to give it the best."

He also highlighted the Prime Minister's interest in strengthening partnership and co-operation with MSC Cruises to ensure the Tunisian tourism recovery.

MSC Cruises suspended its calls to Tunisia after the terrorist attack on the Bardo Museum (March 18, 2015).
