Cairo - Arab Today

Many people in Switzerland staged an anti-terrorism protest against Qatar and its practices in the Arab region and a number of European countries, calling for stripping Qatar of 2022 World Cup.

The protest came in solidarity with another protest that had been organized by intellectuals and Arabs in Zürich city.

The protesters urged the Swiss authorities to cut ties with the Qatari regime in light of its explicit support for terrorism.

They called on the central European country to join Arab and European countries boycotting Qatar and impose strict restrictions against the terror-sponsoring country.

Besides calls for bringing the Qatari royal family to trial before the International Criminal Court, they urged freezing the Qatari funds at European banks and disbursing it to the victims of terrorism across the world.
