Al Rayyan have headed to Iran ahead of their crunch AFC Champions League encounter against Persepolis. A delegation from the Al Rayyan squad left Doha on Saturday evening, bound of the Iranian capital Tehran.
Al Rayyan will then train at the Azadi stadium on Sunday evening, ahead of their game which is set to take place on Monday the 10th of April. The Lions are currently top of group D with a tally of six points and will be looking for a repeat performance against Persopalis who they defeated 3-1 back in March.
