Interior Ministry shuts 5 accounts on social networks inciting violence, suicide
Cairo - Arab Today
The Interior Ministry’s communications and information technology department continued to combat cyber crimes including inciting violence and terrorism, committing physical extortion and fraud.
Within one week, the department shut down five accounts on social networks that were inciting against state institutions and citizens.
The ministry also arrested 25 defendants over physical extortion and fraud charges.
Investigations were launched into the incidents.
