Amman - Arab Today

HM King Abdullah II Ibn Al Hussain has sent a cable to Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, expressing his strong condemnation over the launching of a ballistic missile by the Houthi militia in Yemen towards the Riyadh city on Saturday.

The missile was intercepted over the city's international airport by the Saudi Arabia’s Air Defense, with no injuries reported, according to Jordan's News Agency (Petra).

In his cable, King Abdullah stressed Jordan's solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in safeguarding its security and stability, as well as facing such a cowardly hostile act, Petra reported.
