Youth and Sports Affairs Minister Hesham bin Mohammed Al Jowder congratulated His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, on Bahrain winning 26 medals in the Asia Olympic Games 2018 in Jakarta and Palembang, Indonesia.
Bahrain won 12 gold, 7 silver and 7 bronze medals and was ranked first among Arab countries and came eleventh in the overall ranking.
