His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a cable of congratulations from National Security Agency (NSA)'s President Lt-General Adel bin Khalifa Al Fadhil, on Bahrain’s international sport achievement in the 18th Asian Games which concluded in the Indonesian capital Jakarta. Bahrain achieved the best participation by bagging 26 different medals in various games.

Al Fadhil also extended congratulations to HM the King on Bahrain clinching the 11th place on the Asian countries overall classification and the first place at the Arab level in the 18th Asian Games. He described the achievement as the dividend of HM the King’s support and care for sport and athletes in Bahrain. He wished Bahrain more progress and prosperity under the leadership of HM the King, wishing HM King Hamad lasting good health and happiness and success in the interest of the kingdom's further progress and prosperity.
