At Least 47 Dead in Traffic Accident in Madagascar

At least 47 people died and 24 were injured in a traffic accident near the capital city of Madagascar.
The dead included guests of a wedding and about 10 children, the government said in a statement on Saturday.
The reason for the accident has not been determined yet.
A commercial transport lorry, which was not intended for the transport of people, was involved in the accident, dpa reported.
The island nation off the south-east coast of Africa has a population of about 24 million people.
