Ras al-Khaimah - Arab Today

The UAE martyr Sultan Mohamed Ali Al Naqbi was laid to rest at the Dafta cemetery in Ras al-Khaimah, on Tuesday, following a funeral prayer led by H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras al-Khaimah.

Several Sheikhs, senior local officials, army and police officers and personnel, as well as Emirati citizens attended the prayer and the burial service.

Sheikh Saud prayed that Allah Almighty may rest the martyr's soul in peace, and grant his family patience and solace to cope with the loss.

The General Command of the UAE Armed Forces announced the martyrdom of Second-Lieutenant Pilot Sultan Al Naqbi yesterday, while carrying out his duties as part of the Saudi-led Arab Coalition's 'Operation Restoring Hope' to support the legitimate government in Yemen.

His plane crashed owing to a technical failure.
