Beirut - Arab Today

State Minister for Combatting Corruption, Nicolas Tueni, on Tuesday maintained that Lebanon's strength does not lie within its weakness, but within its army.

"The Lebanese army has liberated the lands thanks to its dogma and the strong determination of the people supporting the military," the Minister told an interview with Radio Lebanon.

"Victory is near," he underlined.

On a different note, Tueni revealed that his Ministry started to devise a national strategy to fight corruption, in collaboration with the State Minister for Administrative Developments Affairs, Inaya Ezzeddine.

He added that his Ministry had submitted more than 100 reports to the competent judicial authorities
