Premier congratulated by Moroccan Ambassador

His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa received a cable of congratulations from Moroccan Ambassador to Bahrain Ahmed Rashid Khatabi on being granted the Shield of the Federation of World Peace and Love (FOWPAL) in recognition of his landmark contribution to promoting the traditions of peace, tolerance and diversity.
The shield was conferred on HRH the Premier, during an annual FOWPAL ceremony held in New York, on the sidelines of the United Nations (UN) General Assembly meeting in New York, the US.
He congratulated HRH the Premier on the FOWPAL honour in recognition of his stature as leading international personality and advocate of peace, tolerance and diversity. He pointed out that the high profile shield is a well-deserved international recognition of the specificity of Bahrain as the land of pluralism, diversity and co-existence.
