Newly-appointed Minister of Manpower Mohamed Saafan said that Egypt is facing a critical stage along with many problems.
At his first meeting with the ministry's leaders, Saafan called for doubling the efforts and developing solutions to establish the nation in order to reach a better future.
The minister stressed his respect for law, noting that he is hopefully awaiting the new labor law that will maintain a balance between employers and employees with no violation of rights.
Our aim at this stage is to achieve great development at all sectors of the ministry in order to provide comfort for all citizens dealing with its services, he added.
A central concern for us is to resolve the workers' problems in order to increase productivity.
Meanwhile, Saafan urged the ministry's leaders to develop unusual solutions to the problem of unemployment and to try to eliminate it as soon as possible.
The good relationship between employees and employers can lure new foreign investments, which in turn will reduce unemployment, he indicated.
Egypt is a state of institutions, and that's why we will not start from scratch, but we will resume the work of the former minister instead, Saafan noted.
