His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa affirmed constant keenness to boost autonomy of the judiciary, support it and provide it with qualified competencies given its key role in promoting equality and justice, protecting rights and freedoms and promoting social security and stability.


HM the King was speaking as he receives at Safriya Palace today President of the Court of Cassation and Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Judicial Council Chancellor Abdullah bin Hassan Al Buainin who introduced to him a number of new judges at the Court of Cassation.


The new judges took the legal oath before HM the King marking issuance of the royal decree appointing them to the Court of Cassation.

HM King Hamad welcomed them, wishing them success in their duties. He stressed that Bahrain's judiciary has been characterised throughout history with its autonomy, integrity and promotion of the right, justice and sovereignty of the law. He also lauded the dedicated efforts of members of the judiciary, stressing that the development march is going on in all sectors to bring about more achievement and build on previous ones for the best interest of Bahrain and its people.
